video hosting sharing

How can I sell my video tutorials online with the least amount of piracy?
I am the owner of my own website and I have an FTP and hosting space to upload the tutorial video .zip. I am wanting my customers to pay $10 for the video folder and receive the download link after their payment is received. However, I am worried about the link being shared or the videos being copied or sent to one another. Is there anyway I can prevent this?
Well, you can put them in a .zip or .rar (Winzip/WinRAR) and put a password on the compressed file. Change the password from time to time and only mail passwords separate from the DL link. This will keep ppl who download it later from having a password. There’s no cheap way to protect it from P2P sharing.
It will be hard to stop ppl from sharing the link between PW changes without having some kind of complicated activation set up.
In my experience, ppl won’t share your product if it’s a good product and they feel they are getting their money’s worth. Especially if you can gain some personal respect from your customers and make them feel like they know you. It’s easy to do with a small venture. When you become a faceless corporation to them, they will care less about your bottom line.
