hosting on godaddy
How can I assign an icon to my website if I’m registered my domain on GoDaddy & hosting on different service?

my domain is hosted on GoDaddy, and I’m hosting the website on different service. I’m forwarding the domain name to the address of the website.
Now I want to use a favicon on the website. I tried to put the icon on the root of the web hosting, but it didnt appear when I open the website from the domain name, it appears only if I opened it from the hosting link.

anyway to make it work without having to assign the icon with every single page?
Thank you

You just FTP it up to the root directory of your host.
