What can I do for Christmas that is giving back to those in need for free? ?
I don’t have a lot of money. I donated Toys for Tots, I adopted a family for Christmas (when you buy them gifts, tree, food, etc.) I got everyone gifts. I’m hosting Christmas dinner at my house, but I want to do something really nice for those in need! I was thinking of taking everyone caroling at an elderly center, or volunteer at a homeless shelter, or something like that. Does anyone have any good ideas. I really want to GIVE and I need ideas. Please remember, I don’t have a lot of money, I’m just a waitress, so the ideas have to cost nothing. Please help!
The best thing to do is donate your time. Most people are too busy with their families on the holidays so anyone willing to help out is very appreciated. I would recommend going to a children’s home, homeless shelter, or a place that helps women who escaped abusive relationships. All of them have a really hard time during the Christmas season and would love to have someone to spend the holidays with. You can help serve food, read, or just be there to talk with people who would love the company.
