online sales hosting

What is the best customer tracking/sales software application for a small business?

I run a small tutoring business and need a way to track leads, capture customer information and run analytics on my data. We also need to be able to track things like how many hours the student has used, the amount spent, total bill and what lead channel was used so we need to be able to customize fields and tables. I would prefer to have an online service (SoS) host this opposed to having to install but this is not a requirement. Also we are looking for something that can be easily implemented and supported.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good solution? If you are speaking from experience it would be great if you can tell me how you used the application, the ease of use and the cost. We are a small shop (3 employees) so we are looking for something affordable but with great tools.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

ACT is a good program. I was an insurance salesman for about 5 years and I had to track several of the things that you listed. It has fully customizable fields where if you don’t have a field that you want you can input it. You can also download that information to excel for graphs and easy input.

hosting talent agents

hosting talent agents
Are there any actors/actresses in L.A. who would like promotion work in exchange for a free agent showcase?

I am hosting an agent showcase in Los Angeles with a top commercial agent on Monday, December 7th at 7:30pm. It’s a great opportunity for actors and actresses to read and showcase their talents. I want to broaden my marketing and create word-of-mouth about the event.

Are there any actors/actresses who would like to promote the agent showcase? If you sign up 2 or more people, YOU GET FREE ATTENDANCE. If you sign up 5 or more people, you get $5.00 commission per person plus free attendance.

Are you interested? Thank you very much.

Where? What number do we call if we’re interested?

5 dollar hosting

5 dollar hosting
How would one go about laying out a parking lot in a feild without using cones or paint?

I am hosting a large event at my ranch and need to setup a temporary parking lot to hold 200 cars. I would use cones but at 5-10 dollars a piece it will expensive quick and paint will not hold up as it is mostly dirt and rock. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Go to your local high school that has a foot ball field and borrow their line marker. Buy a couple of bags of lime from your hardware store and you are in business.

The lime will dissipate over a few days leaving no trace.

what is the best small business, hosted crm solution. why? needs to integrate with quickbooks.?

looking for something that is simple to get started, easily integrates with quickbooks and outlook, provides lots of features such as tracking customer service incidents and email marketing campaigns, offers simple upload and download features via csv, is fairly customizable, and not expensive… less than $30 a month per user ideally. maybe 5 users max initially.

I dont have any experience in customer relations management software but maybe you could look at the following options.

LegrandCRM (Not sure about hosted or the price, quickbooks maybe through optional module)

AEXXIS CRM(breaks your budget)

SugarCRM ($119 per year depending, don’t know about the quickbooks though, maybe through a 3rd party application)

Opentaps (Free, once again not certain about quickbooks or CSV but i am sure support for it will appear eventually)
http://www.sequoiaerp.org/

Compiere
http://www.compiere.org (Free open source, supports Excel and many other formats, not sure about quickbooks but once again it could happen)

Others worth mentioning, not sure if they classify as CRM software packages.

I hope you find something useful above.
